If you have been following all things C-section Mums on the Facebook page you will have seen my announcement that I made it to the finals for Best (Personal) Health and Well Being Blog in the Blog Awards Ireland. Well you could have blown me down with a feather when I found out, I was just delighted.
The site is still in its infancy so to make it to the longlist, then shortlist and through a public vote to be here at the final stage was pretty amazing to me.
Tonight is the night. I will stick on some smart attire and a bit of makeup and attend the awards ceremony. A great excuse to have a drink and a bite to eat among my fellow bloggers, many of whom I call friends.
I just want to say thank you so much for those of you who have supported C-section Mums to date and those who voted I am ever so grateful to you all.
I have no expectation about winning an award but sure keep your fingers crossed anyway, I will let you know how I get on!
